so i got this tattoo on july 3rd and it’s probably the only one i have that has any meaning to me at all. i have spent so much of my life trying to be someone that i’m not and it’s tiring, it breaks me down until i can’t take it anymore. so i saw this tattoo on someone else and fell in love with it. 

i thought i was happy trying to be this perfect person by being someone that i’m not. but it turns out the only life i’m really happy living is my own.
